It is worth noting that many elements of the presented world are the product of Senua's imagination - in order to properly present the ailments that torment her, the creators cooperated with people suffering from schizophrenia and doctors dealing with this disease, among others.
The overriding role in the game is played by the exploration of vast levels. MechanicsĮvents presented in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice are observed from the third person perspective (TPP). In the course of the adventure she has to face fantastic, terrifying creatures inhabiting this ghastly land and her own weaknesses - the latter resulting in the visions and hallucinations she experiences. The main heroine of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is the title Senua - Celtic warrior who goes on a dangerous journey to the Vikings' hell to fight for her dead lover's soul. The portfolio of this experienced team includes the warmly received Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and DmC: Devil May Cry.
